The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world? What about the hand that robs the cradle?

When I was a kid I used to pray everday for a new bike. Then I realised God doesnt work that way. So I stole a bike and asked God to forgive me.

I'm not that good a judge of digital art ... it seems to me that the green area is a little -- thin -- somehow, as though there was only alge growing there and not trees. :hmm: Is there any way of -- I don't know -- texturizing it somehow?

Imagine (John Lennon)

Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky. Imagine all the people Living for today.
Imagine there's no country, It isn't hard to do. Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too.

and I, in turn, was going to mention how exquisite the green is in contrast to the sparkling white and the bright sky. It is my opinion but I find this a striking piece.

Where is it taken, Ravi?

Oh, yeah, the colors are cool, I agree with you on that! And the shape of the mountain is lovely as well. The problem is that it looks so darn real -- but only up to a point, the point where you expect more texture in the greenery. If the lack of texture is due to the limitations of the program that made the picture, then I am obviously asking for something I can't have, and that's okay. I was just wondering if that beautiful picture could be taken just a little further ... :)

umm... I think it could be made a bit more rougher if thats what you mean. The green is meant to be algae. I don't really know how to add texture at the detail you are asking for but I see your point and that the green does make it look computer generated. I put the anti-alias quite high on my renders to make them look smooth so that might also be the reason.

Thanks for the comment and the ideas. I appreciate comments like this as it makes you think and helps you develop your work.

Thanks for the nice comment. As to what you mean by where is this taken, I don't have a clue. This was rendered using a 3D Rendering software. But if you mean by what this is based on in real life... I was watching this wildlife programme and on there there was a hill with a perfect reflection on it. I tried to recreate that.

I suppose its partly to the program limitations but also to my novice ability.
